As a designer, you communicate in a uniquely different manner than your clients and corporate co-workers. At times, that can leave you feeling lost in a sea of words. But author and in-house veteran Andy Epstein has several strategies to help you communicate more effectively with the "verbals" in your office. In this highly visual and information-packed presentation, you'll explore tactics for selling your creative concepts and establishing your team as a key player in your company's marketing and communication efforts. You'll even discover the true value of your unique communication style, and learn how to share that perspective with your non-designer co-workers. About the presenter: An in-house designer since 1992, Andy Epstein created and grew in-house design teams for Commonwealth Toy and Gund, as well as restructured and expanded the 100-person creative team at Bristol-Myers-Squibb. He currently works at Designer Greetings, leading an in-house design team that develops the company's marketing, communication and sales materials and products. Andy has written extensively on in-house issues and is the co-founder of InSource, an association dedicated to providing support to in-house designers and design team managers. He's the head of the AIGA task force on in-house design and is currently writing a book to be published by HOW Books.
