About John Kilpatrick

John Kilpatrick is senior vice president and executive creative director for The Daily—a first-of-its-kind daily national news publication made for tablet devices. Kilpatrick has spent his career spearheading projects on brand positioning, large-scale digital content and interactive design, and is an expert on the emerging platform of tablet design. He was recently a featured panelist at the launch of Interbrand IQ’s Creative Issue at MoMA, and was also featured in Communication Arts 2011 and 2012 Interactive Annual.

Before joining The Daily, Kilpatrick was vice president and group creative director for AOL Media, where he led the interactive design team. Prior to joining AOL, he was a founding partner of the New York design studio Double K Design, where he worked with major brands including Mercedes-Benz, Cynthia Rowley, Nike, Honda and Versace.
